Noel Gallagher U.S. Radio Request
Noel Gallagher has recently released a new single called:"If I Had A Gun". As of the moment, that song is #33 on the U.S. Alt. Rock charts. Unfortunately though, the airplay for this amazing song has stalled. So to give it a little push in America, do your part as Noel Gallagher/Oasis fan, and request the song on the U.S. Alt. Rock stations. It doesn't matter if you're from the US, UK, Europe in general, Asia, Africa, wherever. You can request a song on American radio. So here are few links bellow, which show some of the stations that it can be requested on, or where you can email DJ's so they can play it. Request however or wherever you can. Every little bit helps: please also retweet/RT this link:

Noel Gallagher - The Death of You And Me Review
Last night was the world premiere of Noel Gallagher's first single post-Oasis. The titled track is called "The Death of You And Me", and I must say that the song is hypnotically good.
It begins with a simple acoustic riff which harks back to the Oasis song, The Importance of Being Idle. Noel puts a nice bouncy feeling into his melody, which gives the song a nice sunny feel. Now of course this wouldn't be a Noel Gallagher song without at least some Beatles references. There are part which show some resemblance the, "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite", or many of the songs from The Magical Mystery Tour/Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band. It's Noel Gallagher, you had to expect some Beatles influence in there. Noel's voice is at his best in this song. It is exemplified in every falsetto that he hits. The lyrics are a great improvement over what Noel was shelling out on the last few Oasis albums.
But what makes this song intriguing, is when it turns in to an old school New Orleans brass sections. The brass section flies over the beautifully sweeping chorus. "The Death of You And Me" turns out to be more classic Americana, than British. The response to this song has generally been very good. In the 36 hours since the video's release; it has received 423, 502. So view the not too shabby video of "The Death of You And Me" below. As for my rating, I give this brilliantly written track: 8/10 stars.

Noel Gallagher Press Conference?
It has recently been reported by the Oasisnews twitter feed that Noel Gallagher may soon be holding a press conference to announce the release of his much anticipated solo album. This news is unconfirmed and should be treated as a rumor. The press conference is expected to be happening on July 6th.
Beady Eye (Liam Gallagher's group) have recently decided to push back the release of their single, "The Beat Goes On". Many have seen this as an indication that Noel would be releasing some type of the news before the release of the Beady Eye's single on July 17th.
It has recently been reported on the Oasis fan site Live4ever, that Noel's debut single would be called "The Death of You And Me". Also rumored, is the concept that Noel may begin touring somewhere in mid-October. Tracks such as "If I Had A Gun", "Record Machine", and "Stop The Clocks", have also been rumored to be on Noel's upcoming solo album.
Noel has become recently married to Sara MacDonald, and they have recently been on holiday. Most expect Noel to be returning back to England this upcoming weekend.
Many other details give this rumor credence, but as of now it should be treated as rumor.

A Song You May Not Know
Goin' to Acapulco by Jim James and Calexio
Many hardcore Bob Dylan fans know this song from Dylan's The Basement Tapes collection, and also from the Dylan bio-pic "I'm No There". It was in the film "I'm Not There" that Goin' to Acapulco by Jim James first appeared. Song appears in the scene in which the Richard Gere character (Billy the Kid) enters town. In the town square, Jim James and Calexio for this song.
The song starts out with a bit of a pulsing strum on the acoustic guitar. Soon, James' voice enters in. James' voice is haunting, melancholic, and wistful. With his voice James is able to convey sadness and longing. Especially, as the horns come in. The music is slow and melodic. It does not have to hurry or be uptempo. Instead it just gracefully flows and envelops the listener. The signature note is the note that James hits at end of each chorus. His "yeeeeaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh's" soar just as high the horns which also rise with it.
In the end, you must listen to Jim James' version Goin' to Acapulco. It is a song that you may not know, but believe me, you should know it.

Noel Gallagher - The Death of You And Me
New single titled: "The Death of You And Me"
It has been reported on the Oasis fan forum known as live4ever.us, that Noel Gallagher's first single will be named "Death of You And Me". The news was reported by a forum member named "bonkers". He became aware to this information by going to the Facebook page of "In A Place Productions", those who are believed to have made the video, and was told the name of the single. He was also told that the single would be released sometime in the late summer of 2011.
Since Noel Gallagher left the group Oasis, his solo project has taken a considerably long time to get off the ground. The news for his album has been few and far between. The only news that has been given is the fact that for the past month and half he has been recording his album in L.A., that he filmed the video for "Death of You And Me, that Jon Graboff is working on it, and that the Sand Band will be his backing band on the album, and possibly live, and Dave Sardy is possibly the producer of his album.
So far this has been one of the more anticipated releases. Noel is quite possibly one of the greatest songwriters of his generation and is an immensely talented artist. He's best known for writing some of the greatest songs of the last 30 years, which include: Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger, Don't Go Away, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, The Importance of Being Idle, the Masterplan, Supersonic, Cigarettes And Alcohol, and Falling Down. So far it seems as if Noel has no problem in milking the free publicity.
It's a good change for him. At least he's not coming out saying that this will be the "greatest album since What's The Story Morning Glory". No, instead he's letting others build up the hype. As it should be.
