Noel Gallagher - The Death of You And Me

New single titled: "The Death of You And Me"

It has been reported on the Oasis fan forum known as live4ever.us, that Noel Gallagher's first single will be named "Death of You And Me". The news was reported by a forum member named "bonkers". He became aware to this information by going to the Facebook page of "In A Place Productions", those who are believed to have made the video, and was told the name of the single. He was also told that the single would be released sometime in the late summer of 2011.

Since Noel Gallagher left the group Oasis, his solo project has taken a considerably long time to get off the ground. The news for his album has been few and far between. The only news that has been given is the fact that for the past month and half he has been recording his album in L.A., that he filmed the video for "Death of You And Me, that Jon Graboff is working on it, and that the Sand Band will be his backing band on the album, and possibly live, and Dave Sardy is possibly the producer of his album.

So far this has been one of the more anticipated releases. Noel is quite possibly one of the greatest songwriters of his generation and is an immensely talented artist.  He's best known for writing some of the greatest songs of the last 30 years, which include: Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger, Don't Go Away, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, The Importance of Being Idle, the Masterplan, Supersonic, Cigarettes And Alcohol, and Falling Down. So far it seems as if Noel has no problem in milking the free publicity.

It's a good change for him. At least he's not coming out saying that this will be the "greatest album since What's The Story Morning Glory". No, instead he's letting others build up the hype. As it should be.
